FAQ

1) How long do the classes run?

We offer 30-minute classes throughout the year in 8 week sessions at the daycare/preschool locations.  Depending upon your school's schedule, there will be up to 4 or 5 sessions per year for a total of up to 32-40 classes.  For your convenience, we offer automatic re-enrollment.  Please give us 2 weeks notice if you need to withdraw your child.  At the public locations, we offer 30-minute, 45-minute & 60-minute classes, as well as offer summer camps.

2) What is the cost of the classes?

The cost varies by location and length of class.  Please contact Click and Learn Adventures for the current rates at a particular location.

3) What if my child misses a class?

There are no refunds for missed classes.  A missed class at a portable location can be made up on Computer Detective Day, the last class of the session.  Computer Detective Day is reserved as a review/makeup day where the students get to either makeup a missed class or choose their favorite mission from that session.  Classes missed at the public locations can be made up on another day or time in the same week as the missed class (subject to space availability) or on Computer Detective Day.  Please notify us of any upcoming absences.  Any classes cancelled due to weather or teacher absence will be made up.

4) What if I need to withdraw my child from taking classes?

At Click and Learn Adventures, we are flexible and understand finances may be tight for families right now.  If at anytime you need to withdraw during a session, the balance will be refunded from the date of the notice.  If you decide you do not want to re-enroll your child for the next session, please give us two weeks notice so your next payment will not be charged.

5) Are your teachers certified?

All teachers must attend training through Imagine Tomorrow and must pass an exam to become a certified Imagine Tomorrow teacher.  All teachers also must pass a thorough background check.

6) What are the curriculum skills of Imagine Tomorrow classes?

Technology skills include:  Mouse, Keyboard, Files, Menus, Internet, Networks, Satellites, Video Conferencing, Cell Phones, Email, Texting, Digital Cameras, Blue Tooth, Hot Spots and Wireless Communications.

Academic Skills:  Imagine Tomorrow Software’s primary academic focus is early literacy.  The missions and the aligned software are designed to foster Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening skills.  Beginning math concepts are developed as children encounter Counting, Patterns, Shapes and Sequencing.

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills are built into the missions.

Earth Science is introduced through the 14 original places in the Virtual World which are based off of real world locations.

Life Skills:  Imagine Tomorrow's software is designed to make every child feel successful through their own accomplishments.  Children are taught to think creatively and communicate their ideas using technology.  These skills will carry over into their lives and positively impact their performance in other areas including school and even their future careers.  The children interact with the video and repeat along with Mr. Scott, "I can do anything if I put my mind to it!"

7) How do I know if my child is ready?

Children who can follow a simple one-step direction are able to take Click and Learn Adventures computer classes.  We also ask that all children be potty-trained who are enrolling in Imagine Tomorrow classes.

8) Can I enroll my child mid-session?  Will my child be behind?

Ongoing prorated enrollment is available based on availability.  As long as there is an opening in a class, a child can enroll mid-session at a prorated rate.  Since each lesson is a stand-alone lesson, children can enroll at anytime and not fall behind.
